HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT.
The Department of Agriculture has received the following cable, dated the 27th inst.: Hemp, Manila market duff and declining this Aveek, but closed steadier at lower value. “J” grade, May and April—June shipments sold at £4l/10/0 to £42; Sisal quiet; Tanganyika No. 1, February—April shipments, quoted at £44/10/0. New Zealand easier and February-April shipments quoted at high points £39, fair £3O/5/-. Noav Zealand loav value No. 2 grade nominal £26.
