THE WEATHER.
The Government Meteorologist wires as follows at noon to-day: Indications are for westerly winds strong to gale and backing by west to south. The weather appears likely to be cloudy and unsettled. Heavy rain is to be expected. Barometer has a falling tendency, but rising fast shortly. Seas heavy; tides good.
