MANAWATU RABBIT BOARD.

ANNUAL MEETING

Tla- annual meeting of the Manawatu Rabbit Hoard was held in the secretary’s office this morning, presided over by -Mr. B. 0. Gower (Chairman). Also present were Trustees F. 0. liaikes, J. F. MoKeivie, Fleming, Roswell, Gloyn and the secretary (Mr. Koore Kangiheuea). The Board’s inspector (Mr. D. Tv. Barron) was also in attendance. The chairman’s annual report (as previously published) was read and adopted. The secretary was authorised to write the secretary of Tangimonna Improvement Society asking them to apply to the Minister of Lands by way of petition to have the township of Tangimoana struck off the rate roll of the Manawatu Babbit Board. A similar request was also made to the Fox ton Beach Improvement. Society.

The balance-slice, was read and adopted.

Trustees Baikes and the Chairman were authorised to sign the rate book.

Messrs Mouhsey and Co.’s offer to supply the Board with nine office chairs for the sum of £2 5s Od was accepted. The meeting was still sitting at the time of going to press.
