February, 192(1: — “Frozen meat quotations (prices on a “delivered” basis, i.e., including storage charges, cartage, tolls, etc.). Down lambs, 28/42’s, 10id per lb; best North Island 28/42’s, 10. Id per lb; ordinary North Island 28/42’s lOd per lb; second quality lambs 28/42’s, 9d per lb; best North Island wether sheep 48/<>4’s, (igtl per lb; best North Island wether sheep (!4/72\s, (>}d per lb; ordinary North Island wether sheep 48/04’s, (Slid per lb; North Island ewes 48/(>4’s, 4ld per 11); North Island ewes (54/72’s, 4id per II): New Zealand prime ox bed: l(j()/220’s, 3.}d per lb. As compared with last week’s quotations, second quality lamb is gd per lb. cheaper, wet hers-48/04’s, id and (14/72’s, :]d per lb. cheaper, ewes 04/72’s, id per lb. cheaper, beef Id per lb. cheaper. The market is very weak and lower prices are anticipated for lamb next week. There is no demand for frozen beef.
