A TEN YEAR OLD COMPLAINT
At last nights Council meeting GY. Thompson again brought up the <) nest ion of asphalting a roadway through the cemetery. In doing so he said that ten years ago ladies had complained to him about having to walk through long, and often wet grass in the cemetery. The Clerk pointed out that the road foreman had reported on this matter. It would cost £2OO to lay down the roadway as suggested by Cr. Thompson. A path 4ft. wide would cost £IOO.
Civ Me Murray suggested a metalled roadway. It was finally decided to refer the matter to the Cemetery Committee to report to next meeting.
