WOMAN CHAFFEUR INDICTED.

MANSLAUGHTER CHARGE. Rotorua, Last Night. At the Magistrate’s Court this day, before Mr. Kenrick, S.M., Mrs Rosa May Cattanach, of Tauranga, a service-car driver, appeared to answer a charge “that being in charge of a motor-ear she failed to take reasonable precautions and care, resulting in the death of two passengers, Tieri Tetikaa and his wife, Taukiri Tieri.” The evidence of three witnesses, Dr. Whiteside, Messrs. Srnedly and Hiiitz, at the inquest on January 28th, was recapitulated. After Constable McLean had given exhaustive details as to the condition' of the road and the position of the car tracks after the accident, the Court adjourned.
