BOWLING .
Yesterday afternoon three rinks from Foxton visited Levin Club, partly as a friendly visit and also to try conclusions with the holders of the Kinneburgh Feathers. In the game for .the Kinneburgh trophies the play was very keen, Clements’ particularly showing great bowling form. The final scores are not an indication of the condition of play, although it must be admitted that Levin were playing a superior game to Foxton, and merited their further victory in defence of the Feathers. The details in connection with this game are as follows: Levin: Pyke, Inder, Clements, Suhan (s), 22 v. Mat tar, Woods, Roore, Nve, (s) 12. The other two rinks which made the trip were also unsuccessful in their games, the rinks and scores being:— Levin: Clements snr., Parker, Monks, Hawke, (s) 21 v. Cowley, Whiblcy, Winstanlcy, Christie (s) 18. Levin: Ingram, Backett, Brown, Percy (s) 21 v. Spring, Healey, Admore (s) 11. The usual cordial hospitality was extended the visitors by Levin bowlers, and the outing was very enjoyable. It is probable that Levin Club will pay a return visit to Foxton in about a fortnight’s time.
