PLUNKET SOCIETY.

The monthly meeting of the plnnkot Society was held in the Plunket Office yesterday. Mrs F. Robinson presided, and there were also present : Mosdames F. Proctor, Ileasman, McDonald, Chrystall, Barron, Downes, and McMurray. Apologies were received from Mosdames Barr, Walton, Christie and A. Ross. The nurse’s report showed that four visits wore paid to Foxton. Adult visit to the office totalled 44 and children 41. There were four new cases. The general health of the babies was good. The lion, secretary reported that the total taking of the shop day on January 30th were £l2/6/9. After expenses were allowed there was a credit of £9/18/4.

Visitors appointed for the month were Mosdames Proctor and MeMurray, and Mrs Proctor will be flower steward.

The proceeds of Mr. E. Healey’s weighing machine totalled 4/3, while room contributions were 2/11. A donation was received from Mrs J. Chrystall.
