The census will now be taken on the night of Tuesday, April 20. The reason for the alteration from Sunday is that so many people spend the week-end away from home and by Tuesday have returned. There are several new features in the returns, including a call for returns of income of persons over 1(3 years of age, this being asked for in view of the Government’s proposals to provide assistance to householders with large families.
