PAIHATUA RACING CLUB’S
MEETING,
The Pahiatua Racing Club’s meeting opened yesterday in perfect weather. The track was in splendid order and 'there was a large attendance. Results: —
Maiden Race: —Outfit 1, Sir Lucullus 2, Regal Star 3. Won by half a length. Time 1.17. Bal'lanee High Weight Handicap: —Alabama 1, Tongatotoa 2, Sarty 3. Won by four lengths. Time 1.30
Hamua Hack Handicap: —Tempean 1, Carrigallen 2, Pantagruel 3. Won by four lengths. Time 1.15 3-5.
Pahiatua Handicap: —Printemps 1, Bright Day 2, Opa 3. Won by a small margin. Time 2.8. Konini Hack Handicap:—Novor 1, Panart 2, Bright Knight 3. Won by a neck. Time 1.1 4-5. Makuri Hack Handicap: —Bonideer 1, Lady Ideal 2, Cheery Pie 3. Won by three lengths. Time 1.1 4-5. President’s Handicap:—Standard 1, Westbroke 2, Treadwell 3. Won by two lengths. Time 1.15.
Ekefahuna Welter: —Rahepoto 1, Tawehi 2, Last Thought 3. Time 1.30.
