FOXTON BOROUGH COUNCIL. NOTICE OF POLL. | HEREBY give notice under Sect. 41 of the Local Elections & Polls Act 1908,” that a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough of I' oxton on the proposal to raise a Special Loan of £5,000 for the purpose of reconstructing and tar-sealing certain streets and footpaths in the borough, will be taken on the THIRD day of February 1926, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 7 p.m., at the Town Hall Supper Room,( Avenue Road, Foxton. Dated this 19th day of January 1926. Wm. TRUEMAN, Returning Officer. FOXTON BOROUGH COUNCIL. LOAN PROPOSAL. NOTICE is hereby given that the Council proposes for the purpose of reconstructing and tar-sealing certain streets and footpaths in the Borough, to raise a Special Loan of £5,000 at a rate of interest not exceeding six per centum per annum with a sinking fund not exceeding one per centum per annum. And for the purpose of providing for the repayment of the loan and for the payment of interest charges thereon, to appropriate and pledge as security, a Special Rate of fifteen sixteenths of one penny in the £ on the rateable value of all the rateable property in the Borough of Foxton, such rate to be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and to be made and levied by resolution of the Council after the said Special Loan has been agreed to by the ratepayers. The whole of the loan is to he repaid at the expiry of ten years from the date of raising the same. It is proposed to pay the first year’s interest out of the loan money.
