ESCAPED PRISONER

Pone Pnrakiakore, who escoped from I he Mount Eden prison yesterday. was recaptured to-day. He was seen entering a house in the fiiey Lynn district. The police surrounded the whole block, and when lie dashed out a pack of police and civilians followed him. lie was retaken in an open paddock, and offered no resist since. He escaped while working in a garden near the superintendent’s bouse, outside the walls, but dose to the main en-tram-p of the prison.
