MELBOURNE, Jan. 5. ( It has been proposed that MF C. O’Neill, assistant secretary of the Victorian Seamen’s Union, should leave at an early date to organise the new Bl’itish Seamen’s Union, of which Mr Tom Walsh is to be president. , ~ c , Mr O’Neill conferred with the Seamen’s Union leaders in Sydney at the week-end. , •,, Ho said to-day that it was possible he would accept the position.
