Usual 10.43 a.m. Palmerston N. lo Fox lull train leaves Palmerston North 0.40 a.in., Longburn 0.52. Usual 1.10 p.in. Foxton-Palmer-slun North train will leave Foxton 5.20 j3.ni., Racecourse 5.30 p.m., for Palmerston North. These trains stop where required for passengers.

FOXTON BOROUGH COUNCIL. LOAN PROPOSAL. is hereby given that the Council proposes for the purpose of reconstructing and tar-sealing certain streets and footpaths in the Borough, to raise a Special Loan of £5,000 at a rate of interest not exceeding six per centum per annum with a sinking fund not exceeding one per centum per annum. And for the purpose of providing for the repayment of the loan and for the payment of interest charges thereon, to appropriate and pledge as security, a Special Rate of fifteen sixteenths of one penny in the £ on the rateable value of all the rateable property in the Borough of Foxton, such rate to lie an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and to he made and levied by resolution of the Council after the said Special Loan has been agreed to by the ratepayers. The whole of the loan is to be repaid at the expiry of ten years from the date of raising the same. It is proposed to pay the first year’s interest out of the loan money.
