FOXTON BOROUGH COUNCIL. LOAN PROPOSAL. NOTICE is hereby given that the Council proposes for the purpose of reconstructing and tar-sealing certain streets and footpaths in the Borough, to raise a Special Loan of £5,000 at a rate of interest not exceeding six per centum per annum with a sinking fund not exceeding one per centum per annum. And for the purpose of providing for the repayment of the loan and for the payment of interest charges thereon, to appropriate and pledge as security, a Special Hale of fifteen sixteenths of one penny in the £ on the rateable value of all the rateable property in the Borough of Foxton, such rate to be an annually recurring rate during the eunency of the loan, and to be made and levied by resolution of the Council after the said Special Loan has been agreed to by the ratepayeis. The whole of the loan is lo he repaid at the expiry of ten years from (lie dale of raising the same.
