ALLEGED STABBING.
MAN COMMITTED FOR TRIAL.
Auckland, January 1L Walter Joseph Vickers, aged 30, was committed to the Supreme Court to-day ou a charg? of having assaulted Frederick Murray so as u came him actual bodily harm. Medical evident; showed ixat two wounds in Murray’s arm and chest might have been caused by a pocket -knife, but were not likely to be serious. Murray staled that he had fought with accused, but saw no weapon in his hand. John Ward, landlord at the house where both men lived, said he heard Murray accuse Vickers of stabbing him. Accused was allowed bail.
