GIRL FOUND HANGING.

IN ISLAND BAY TEA HOUSE. Wellington, Last Night. The dead body of a well-dressed girl of about 18 years was found on the floor of the blue plaster teahouse on Island Bay. The premises are at present untenanted. It is presumed the girl got into the house by climbing through one of the windows and hanged herself two days ago. The rope had apparently broken for portion was found on the floor. A noose was round the girl’s neck. No one saw the gorl enter the building and as many people are in the vicinity during the day, it is presumed she entered under cover of darkeness. No one is reported missing and nothing was found on the body to disclose her identity.
