TO REDUCE BLOOD PRESSURE.

ELECTRICAL APPARATUS INVENTED.

New York, January 4

A message from Portland, Oregon, states that Mr. Joseph Pos, a scientist and engineer, has invented an electrical apparatus which appears to have relieved, at least temporarily, cases of high blood pressure where established medical methods have failed. Mr. Pos declared that the machine was merely the adaption of a new scientific principle he had evolved through the modification of the Einstein theory involving what is “time impulse” instead of space impulse. He then computed the so-called frequency of the blood in the human body, after which he was able to devise an apparatus inducing the correct vibrations and restoring normal blood pressure. The Physicians’ Association has investigated thirteen cases of men and women undergoing treatment of these reported blood pressures. Many were brought to normal and remained their at the end of four months. The council of the American Medical Association is now investigating the device. Mr. Pos claimed that by the same principle other diseases could be cured, and the so-called death-ray could be produced or a wireless telephone could be directed to one locality and be unheard elsewhere.
