FIRE BRIGADE.
The members of the F.Y.F.B. wish to thank all those who helped h> make llioir shop day on Saturday such a financial success. The members especially thank Mesdames S. Wright, Fuller, and Parker tor the splendid services rendered on liehalf of the brigade. Their efforts were fully rewarded, the sunt of £2B being raised. The results of the competitions are as follows: Weight of sheep: 58 lbs., Airs Blanche and W. H. Baker; Dinner: No. 140, J. W. Coley; Supper Cloth: No 24, Miss Jessie Grinin; Baby’s Dress: No. 1.1, Miss R. Barber: Box Chocolates No. 84, L. McDowell; Box Chocolates: No. 17, A- AreDowel!; Box Chocolates: No. 45, W. Ale Knight; ’Xmas Cake: No. (53, Mrs Chafl'ey; Cigarette Case: No. 4, 11. W. Parker: 5 pullets: No. 45, C. J. Bailie.
