TRIBUTE TO MR. LINKLATER, M.P.

Speaking at the conclusion of business at the meeting of the Eoxton Harbour Board yesterday, Air. E. R. B. Ilolbcn said he wished to congratulate the residents of Eoxton and district on their choice in the selection of a candidate to represent them in Parliament. Tn returning Mr. Linkialcr to the House the electors of Alanawntu had displayed great wisdom and lie was sure Hit Che. confidence they had placed in Air. Linkialcr would be fully justified (applause).

Mr. Linkialcr himself relumed thanks and said that he regret led that he had been unable to personally (hank his supporters before, but lie had been away recuperating since the election. He hoped to have ihe opportunity of meeting the electors at an early date when he could (hank them for the confidence they had placed in him (applause).
