SHOCKING TRAGEDY NEAR HAMILTON.
MAN AND GRANDSON ELECTROCUTED. Auckland, Lasf Night. A double fatality look place at Tnwhere, owing to contact with an electric wire. A man named Marie Webb, employed by the Tama here Road Board was returning to his home a| Tawhere for lunch and when entering his gale came into contact with an electric high tension wire, which was down. The unfortunate man was electrocuted, being killed inslanlly. Singular to relate a grandson of Webb, aged seven years, named Norman College, was killed almost at the same instant. He was staying with his gram] pa rents and iliad been -sent across the paddock to pos( a letter and also came into contact with the same wire just as Webb was entering the gate to his residence. Death was instantaneous in both cases. The bodies were removed to the morgue at Hamilton.
