BEACH NOTES.

(Own Correspondent). The Presbyterian Sunday School held their annual prize distribution on Sunday afternoon at the Beach Hall. The Rev. F. McDonald conducted the service, which was well attended, and gave a very interesting address to the children. Prizes were awarded to seventeen of the children residing at the Beach. Two special prizes were given for good attendance, viz., Myra Barrett and Harold Mcßreety. After the meeting a vote of thanks was passed to Mrs Larsen (Superintendent) and to the teachers for the good work done in the Sunday School during the year. The financial report showed a credit balance, which testified to the progress made since the school was inaugurated.

A big audience is expected at the breaking up of the Foxton Beach day school. Special items are to be given by the children, and some very amusing turns are to lie expected from the children of the All Saints’ Home. Sweets will be sold during the interval, and later in the evening dancing will be indulged in.
