WOODVILLE RACES.

WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY NEXT. The Woodville Racing Club has made arrangements to enable local residents to attend the races in that town next Wednesday and Thursday. Excursion fares will prevail on the railway and the local train in the morning will connect with with the Race Special at 10.5 a.m. at Palmerston North. Each evening Madge Bros, bus will leave Palmerston North, on the return of lie Race Special, for Foxton, the fare on the bus being only 3/6. Local residents desiring to have a day at the races will thus be able to do so with the assurance of being able to return to Foxton each day.
