MR. McCOMBS TO LODGE PETITION.

Mr J. McCombs lias definitely decided to lodge an election petition in connection with the recent poll at Lyttelton.
[At the conclusion of the Magisterial recount on Thursday, Mr. McComb’s opponent, Mr. M. E. Lyons, was declared elected with a majority of six votes,]
