HAWKE CUP
MANAjWATU V. HOROWHENUA ON WEDNESDAY. The following team has been selected by Mr. A. M. Ongley, the Manawatu sole selector, to represent Manawatu against Horowhenua af the Wednesday December 2nd : MeVicar, Ongley, Perrin, Donaldson, McSweeny, Norris, McDonald, Larsen, Broughton, Diedrieh. Wilson. The match starts at eleven o’clock. Gallichan and Mullins were not available. The game is a trial to assist the selector to find the district’s best eleven to oppose Rangitikei for the right to challenge Nelson for the Hawke Cup. Ilorowbenua players are also eligible for the Manawntn team.
