Patrons to the Foxton Horticultural Slioav on Friday, 20th inst., Avill be delighted Avith the wonderful exhibits in iioAvers, vegetables, and home industries* r In order to make the Show more attractive a short concert programme will be given in the evening, the Society having engaged some of the leading singers in the Manawatu for the oceassion. The up-to-date tea rooms will be Avell Avorth a visit. The good prizes for the fruit cake and the family cake should draw record entries. Ist 10/-, 2nd 5/-, 3rd 2/6, and you retain your cake as well. It is expected that the children s cookery entries Avill be a record this year, as Mrs Woolf, the cooking instructress, is encouraging the girls to enter. Children’s entries 3d each, over four entries free.
