ALLEGED CONCEALMENT OF BIRTH.
A MANGAWEKA INCIDENT. A case of alleged concealment of birth was revealed at Mangaw eka .yesterday,' when the body of a dead male child, which had been born on the night of November 10 or 11, was found hidden in a tin trunk (says the Hunterville corresponof the Wanganui Chronicle).( The police of Taihape were communicated with, and Sergeant O’Neill, accompanied by Dr. Hay was quickly on the scene. After_investigations the body was removed to the Taihape Hospital morgue. The inquest was to be opened today.
