T evin & Co., Ltd., have received the following cable from their London agents, dated 6th November, 1925. “Frozen meat quotations (prices on a “delivered” basis), i.e., including storage charges, cartage, tolls etc. Down lambs 28/42’s, none offering; best North Island 2S/42’s, 103 d per 'lb; ordinary North Island 28/42’s, 10id per lb; second quality lamjbs 28/42’s, lid per lb; best North Island wether sheep 48/64’s, 73d per lb; best North Island wether sheep 64/72’s, 7Jd per lb; ordinary 48/64’s, 7§d per lb; North Island ewes 48/04’s, 6-Jd per lb; North Island ewes 64/72’s, 5d per lb; New Zealand prime ox beef, 160/220’s, 4gd. ~ As compared with lant week’s quotations, best North Island lamb is cheaper. Ordinary North Island lamb id cheaper. Second quality lamb id cheaper. Withers gd cheaper. Ewes Id cheaper.
Beef unchanged. Prices are nominal. Market very weak owing to absence of buyers and the outlook at the moment is unfavourable.
