To-morrow afternoon, weather permitting, the first round of the annual Triangular Sheild contest will be played on the local green, Avhen tAvo rinks each from Shannon and Levin clubs Avill competo Avith four Foxton rinks The 'local rinks have already been published. Last season Levin Club was successful in winning the Shield, the final figures for the three rounds being as folloAvs: —Levin 178 points, Foxton 149 points, Shannon 137 points. BoAvlers and croquet players are requested to bring a basket, to assist Avith the catering arrangements. BoAvlers are reminded that a general meeting Avi'll be held in the C. M. Ross buildings at 7.30 o’clock to-morroAV evening, for the purpose of considering important business.
