(To the Editor). Sir. —I notice in a report of the proceedings of the Foxton Borough Council in ( to-day’s “Manawatu Times” that the foreman of the works stated in his report to the Council that all the streets in the Borough had been graded. This is not correct, as no grading has been done in either Union Street from Main street to Johnston —from Union street south, or Purcell street. Once again this end of the town has been totally unprovided for, although the grader was taken empty over 1 these streets no loss than four times. Unfortunately we do not possess a councillor in this end .of the town, consequently we have neither roads nor footpaths, but only a bullock track for both vehicular traffic and pedestrians. .Surely, Sir, the people at this end of the borough should get some little return and respect for payment of rates! I am, etc.. “DISGUSTED.”
