CHILDREN’S BALL.

A .children’s ball will be held in the Town Hull on Friday, November 6th, at 7.30 j>.m., and in aid of the Foxton Blanket Society. Admission adults 2/-, children 1/-. The committee will he pleased to receive cakes towards the supper.

ROYAL PICTURES. At the Royal Theatre this Friday a wholesome five-reel comedydrama will win a place in the community’s heart. It is Classplay’s “Anything Once,” and in it some of our old-time friends appear again on the silver screen. Tully Marshall who will always he remembered for his work in “The Covered Mjagon,” Gladys Walton, Francis McDonald, the arch villian of Hollywood, and Arko the police dog, all hold forth in a rollicking fast-stepping story of bogus noblemen, intrigue, international criminology and much laughter.

A thousand dollar scene is incorporated in the period spectacle of Spain in the sixtenth century, “In the Palace of the King,” which comes to the Royal theatre next Saturday. Tire scene is a “shot,” of an encampment of Don John, who has led a Spanish army against, the Moors in Granada. The scene was taken ill Tahquisht Fails, in the mountains near Palm Springs, California.

TOM MIX AT TOWN HALL. At the Town Hall on Saturday, the Tom Mix feature, “The Deadwood Coach,” will be the leading attraction. The story concerns “The Orphan,” a reckless outlaw, who is feared throughout the West, but who, in reality, is the enemy of only one man. As the boy the outlaw witnessed the murder of his father by an outlaw named Tex Wilson and dedicated his life to vengeance. The way lie fulfils this vengeance and wins the respect of the community well as the hand of a girl, makes as thrilling a two-fisted western drama as has ever been presented on the screen. Comedy: “Ton of Trouble;” Corsica, a scenic and Fox News. Prices as usual.
