Messrs. Levin & Co., Ltd., have received the following cable from the London agents, dated 30th October, 1925: — “Frozen meat quotations (prices on a “delivered” basis, i.e., including storage charges, cartage tolls etc.,) Down lambs 28/42’s, ITJ-d per lb; best North Island 28/42’s, Hid per lb; ordinary North Island 28/42’s, 11 Jd per Lb; second quality lambs ll|d per lb; best North Island wether sheep 48/64’s, B|d per lb; best North Island wether sheep 64/72’s, 7-Jd per lb; ordinary North Island ewes 48/64’s, 8d per lb; North Island ewes 48/64’s, 6§d per lb; North Island ewes 64/72’s, 6id per lb; New Zealand prime ox beef 160/220’s, 4£d per lb. The above quotations are nominal. As compared with last week’s prices, there is a general decline of about £d per lb. The Scotch supplies are still heavy.
