HIGH COMMISSIONER’S
The High Commissioner’s cable, dated the 31st inst., reads:—Hemp Manila market easier with “J” grade, November-January shipments quoted at £4O 10s Od sellers. New Zealand market steady with an improved demand for high points. Parcels afloat New York have realised £4l 10s od. There are sellers high points Oetobeov Deeember shipments at £39, fair £3O. Possible buyers 10s less. Buyers for common £34 10s Od, rejected £32 10s Od. Good business reported for tow. No. 2 now quoted £2O, No. 3 £24/10.
