POSTAL ARRANGEMENTS FOR LABOUR DAY.
LABOUR DAY. On Monday, 26th October, the Post Office will be closed in all branches.
The telephone exchange will observe the usual holiday hours, i.e., 0 a.m. to 10 a.m and 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Mails will be despatched as under : Wanganui 6.30 a.m., Palmerston North 0.30 a.m., W e Oington 6.30 a.m. A delivery of correspondence, whether adressed to post office or delivered by postman, will be made over the counter on Saturday night 24th October between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m.
