A meeting of the Committee set up by the public meeting to go into the ways and means of a huge public effort, for Foxton, will be held in the Racing Club office at the conclusion of the United Sports Association meeting on Thursday evening. On Friday afternoon the ladies of the Presbyterian Church will hold a cake and apron fair. A cordial invitation is extended to all to attend. Delicious home made cakes will be on sale. During the afternoon musical items will be provided. No charge for admission.
