MR. MASSEY’S PORTRAIT.

A GIFT TO EVERY SCHOOL.

Arising out of numerous applications from various schools throughout the Dominion for a portrait of the late Mi'. Massey, the Minister of Education (Sir James Parr) has decided to issue copies to every school, in order that a record may be preserved of one of the greatest of New Zealand’s Prime Ministers. It is announced that in cases where schools desire to have the photograph framed, arrangements will require to be made locally. It is possible, however, that if various schools co-operate in the matter, their respective boards may be able to arrange to have the framing carried out at a reasonable rate.
