FOXTON DISTRICT HIGH SCHOOL.
At last night’s meeting of the Foxton School Committee the headmaster —Mr. F. A. Mason —reported that the requisite number of parents had signed the guarantee forms, undertaking to send their children to attend the secoundary classes of the proposed District High School. These signatures are all local the outlying districts not having yet been canvassed. When this has been done it is anticipated that a guaranteed roll number of close on 50 pupils will be the result.
