TOM MEIGIIAN AT CABARET. Thomas Mcighan’s latest starring picture “Coming Through,” is heading the programme at the Town Hall Cabaret to-morrow evening. “Coming Through” 'brings Tom to the screen in the role of a mine superintendent who, despite the fact that he is assigned to the toughest of mining camps and everyone seems bent on messing things up for him “comes through” gloriously, cleans out the lawless elements, improves the discipline, and increases the general efficiency of the mine. Of course there is a romantic thread in the story. Lila Lee, Wallace Berry and Frank Campeau are prominent players in Meighan’s supporting cast. Other pictures in the programme are “Court Plaster” comedy, and News. Cabaret prices. A crashing, smashing 18-round championship prizefight with the crowd going wild at the finish is only one of the many features of “Winner Take All.” The new night life picture will be presented for the approval of patrons on Saturday next. Buck Jones steps out in this picture and fights his way up the ladder of fame from jobless cowboy to the championship ring and the girl. Usual prices.
ROYAL PICTURES
Picture goers can mark to-mor-row in red on their calendar for it will be a red letter day for them and all admirers of one of America’s greatest actors, Lionel Barrymore, as it brings him to the screen at the Royal Theatre in his latest picture “1 Am The Man.” This is said to lie the best picture Mr Barrymore has ever made and this is high praise for Lionel Barrymore has contributed some very excellent work to the silent drama. He has proven, through sheer ability, his right to the high place he holds in the admiration of motion picture lovers the world over and a new picture of his is always awaited with great interest. In “I Am The Man” he is said to have his greatest acting part and according to advance reports, has taken full advantage of it. The story is a modern one and was written especially for him thus assuring a vehicle suited to his unusual talents. In support of the star will be seen a east of film favorites that seem to promise an unusually good picture.
