THEFT OF COLLEGE FUNDS.
Christchurch, September 9,
Mervyn Banks, a clerk employed by the Canterbury Agricultural College at Lincoln, was committed for sentence tiiis morning on charges of theft from the college, totalling £428. He said lie had spent the money on drink.
