THE WEATHER
The Government Meteorologist wires as follows at noon to-day:— The indications are for westerly winds, moderate to strong, and backing' by west, to south, squally at times. The weather will probably prove cold and showery. Barometer unsteady lint rising soon. Seas heavy; tides good.
