MILITARY TRAINING
Local Senior Cadets are at present undergoing seven days continuous training at the racecourse. The period commenced yesterday when 2fi lads answered to the roll call out of a total of 35. The cadets are under the instruction of Sergeants-Major Ryan, of Foilding, and Thompson of Palmerston North. Training is commenced each morning at !), the lads putting in the day with physical exercises and military instruction etc., and reluming to their respective homes each evening. Colonel Powles will inspect lhe Cadets towards the end of lhe week.
