FIRE ON STEAMER AT AUCKLAND.

1500 TONS OF CARGO

DESTROYED

Damage running into tens of thousands ot' pounds was done by lire on the steamer Kent in Auckland harbour on Thursday. About 15000 tins of cargo were destroyed and serious structural damage was caused to the vessel.
