Messrs. Levin & Coy., Ltd., have received the following- cable from their London agents, dated 2Sth August, 1925: — “Frozen meat quotations (prices on a “delivered” basis, i.e., including storage charges, cartage, tolls, etc.)
Down lambs 28/42’s, 11-1 d P er lb; best North Island 28/42’s, lid per lb; ordinary North Island 28/42’s, 10id per lb; Second quality lambs 28/42’s llld per lb; best North Island wether sheep 48/64’s, 73(i per lb; best North Island wether sheep 64/72’s, 7d per lb; ordinary North Island wether sheep 48/64’s, 7.1 d per 11); North Island ewes 48/64’s, sitd per lb; North Island ewes 64/72’s, 54*1 per lb; New Zealand prime ox beet 160/220’s, 4:[d per lb. As compared with last week s quotations, the market tor lamb and mutton is unchanged, with the the exception of ewes, which are id per lb. dearer. Demand for mutton is good, particularly for ewes.
