Thirds. The Weraroa-Maori College match was not played, neither was the- Otaki v. Foxton Schools match.
The Shannon juniors and Moutoa 11 j(• l on Saturday in the Shannon Domain in the Licensed Victuallers’ Cup competition. After a very ragged exhibition of football the game ended nine all. A further twelve minutes' play was ordered but there being no change in the score, the teams changed over for a further 12 minute s_pell and soon after Shannon crossed the Moutoa line and secured their winning try. If Shannon wish to annex the cup they will need to play a much better game on their next appearance. —Chronicle.
