DANGEROUS BEND

At lost night’s Borough Council meeting n loiter was received from the Manawatu County Council forwarding the following resolution past nl their Inst meeting:—“That it he :i recommendation to the Foxton Borough Council to fill in the side drain and otherwise improve the Boundary Bond between the County and the Borough, leading to Bussell street. The matter was referred to the Public Works Committee to confer with the Manawatu County Council with power to net, the corner at the -oiltli ciul of the borough also to be dealt with.
