"Tn view of the general election which may he expected to take place before the first; week in December, and possibly much earlier, it is as well Ilml supporters of the Reform Parly, states the “Newleter,”ihe official Reform Party journal, should hear in mind that, apart from the sitting members, the following candidates have been officially approved hv the party leaders, following their selection at the conferences held by the Reform Party delegates elected by the party supporters at the several centres in each electorate: — Marsden. —Mr. \\, Jones, Whangar ie. Auckland East.—Mr. James Stewart. Auckland West,—Mr. Samuel Oldfield Manukau. — .Mr. John Massey. Waikato. —Mr. D. Stewart Reid. Taianaki.—Mr. C. E. Bellringer. Stratford. —Mr. E. Walter. Patea. —Mr H. G. Dickie., Wanganui. —Mr. J. Coull. Napier. —Mr. J. Mason. Hawke’s Bay. —Mr. Hugh M. Campbell. Pahiatua. —Mr. A. McNicol. Oroua. —Mr. Gordon Elliot I, Wellington East. —Mr. T. For, sytli. Ellesmere—Mr. David Jones. Glut ha.—Major Fred Wait e. Wallace. — Mr. Adam Hamilton. Wakatipu. —Mr. James Ritchie, Bannockburn. Invercargill. —Mr. S. McDonald. Awarua. —Mr. J. R. Hamilton. Arrangements are in train tar affording other constituencies not represented by Reform supporters the opportunity of selecting candidates for approval by -the party leaders.
