Collins) in the rapacity of the Board’s representative on the Girls' Col lege Board of Governors. Mr Collins will relinquish hi.- duties in this connectioji at the cud of the month, and Mr \\ . Adams, of Manyaweka, has been appointed to till the vacancy. The Chairman of the Wanganui education Board (Mr W. A. Collins) extended a cordial welcome to Mr W\ Adams, who was recently appointed a member of the Board, lie said that for many years Mr Adams was a teacher tinder the Board, and rendered yeoman service in the cause of education. Tie felt that Mr Adams was going to be an ;t(-<|iii —il ion at the table. Other members added their felicitation-, and Mr Adams suitably replied. Mr Adams i- well-known in Foxion, having some years ago held the position of headmaster of the Foxton State School. Mrs 1\ Faston (Foxton) and l)r. Adams (Wanganui) are members of Mr Adams Jamil v.
