We have just received the following latest magazines from the publishers, Messrs Gordon and Gotch (Ausl.) Ltd. — Weldon’s Bazaar of Children’s Fashions. —The July number contains the smartest juvenile fashions of the moment. The gratis patterns included are for two dresses for a girl 8-10 years, girl’s coat, 2-4 years, and a. frock for a toddler, 1-2 years. The editress also points out the merits of the new fashions and tells of Ihe colours that will he worn and the best materials for use. All ihe newest fashions are listed for girls and the journal is nicely illustrated throughout. Weldon’s Ladies’ Journal. —The July number of this issue is a particularly line number, containing as usual, gratis patterns and instructions for cutting out, etc. All the latest styles are dealt with and the illustrations are particularly good. A further chapter of the serial provides an interesting story item while the whole magazine is replete with information so dearly sought after by the thrifty housewife. Cassell’s Magazine.—The June number is again up to the usual high standard set, bv this firm. The popularity of Cassell’s as a fiction magazine is now fully established and that the quality is to be maintained is evident by the following contributors : John Hunter, Joseph Gollomb, Christine .Tope Slade, Marr Murray, Douglas Newton, Sit Philpi Gibbs, Frank IT. Shaw, Max Pemberton.
Hutchinson’s Mystery Story Magazine.—The June number contains among interesting features, an article by the Rt. Hon. the Earl of Birkenhead, P.C., D.L. Stories by Mrs Belloc Lowndes, Margery Lawrence, Per rival Wilde, W. H. Fleming etc.
