MONTHLY AIEETIXG. The monthly meeting of the Main Highways Board was held in Wellington on Thursday and Friday last. The Board decided to hold a conference of executives of district high way councils, with a view to discussing the workings of the Act and regulations in connection therewith, and this meeting has been fixed for July 28. A statement of accounts submitted to the hoard shows that the expenditure out of const ruction fund lor the period April 1, 1925, to June 30, 1925, totalled .C-13,158, while expenditure out of maintenance fund amounted to £22,402.
