PRIMARY SCHOOL TOURNEY. Nineteen senior find thirteen junior tennis contested the Pi rani and Junior Cups in the Primary Schools’ seven-a-sidc tourney at tlie Palmerston North Showground on Saturday morning'. Results of games that the local teams were playing in are as follows : SENIOR. Second Round.-—Manchester St. (Id) v. Foxtou (nil). Central A. won by default from Foxtou B. JUNIOR. Second Round. —Longlmrn-Ran-o-iotu (17) v. Foxtou (nil). In the final for the Senior games, Lvtton St. defeated Manchester St. 1) v 10—3.
The final of the Junior mate-lies was not played owing to want of time, and the winners of the semifinal are: —Terrace End A and TTokowhitn.
SATURDAY'S RESULTS. Senior. —Ifni Mai ((>) v. County Cl). Wanderers (14) v. Weraroa (3). Olaki defaulted to Foxtou. Fourths. —Shannon (13) v. Weraroa (3).
